Helen Zhang (Chinese Teacher) says
The Chinese sentence you mentioned can be translated into:
Qǐng tīng wǒ shuō.
请听我说。
Please listen to me.
“请 (qǐng)” which means “please”, is often used before verbs in sentences to show politeness.
For examples:
Qǐng kàn hēibǎn.
请看黑板。
Please look at the blackboard.
Qing zuò.
请坐。
Sit down, please.

Testimonials

"I was learning Chinese by myself but I was often confused. I thought I needed some sort of help from experienced teachers. The best thing about your approach is that the teacher explains every word and sentence clearly!"
